Welcome . . .
I was first sworn in as Clarke County Tax Commissioner June 30, 2010 and will be seeking re-election in the July 31, 2012 primamry. My years at the Tax Commissioner’s office have prepared me well and I feel that my comprehensive and rich experiences uniquely qualify me to continue serving the challenges of this office. During my 27 year tenure, I served as Delinquent Tax Officer, Motor Vehicle Division Manager, Property Tax Division Manager and held the office of Chief Deputy Tax Commissioner over 15 years. My experience the last two years as your Tax Commissioner have been a rewarding experience that I would not trade for anything. I look forward to serving you for the next four years.
My family and I have called Athens our home for over 30 years. I’ve made it my career to serve her residents. I’m humbled and honored to continue my service to our community in my new role. As a dedicated public servant, I will be responsive to your needs and concerns as well as accountable to you, the tax payer.
I’m always open to any input you have and I invite you to contact me by any of the methods listed below.
I hope I can count on your support and vote in July.
